School activity library, admin AI guidelines, and last name sorting!
Teachers can now publish their activities to a school-wide library. Plus, admins can now customize the behavior of Flint to reflect their school’s mission and background.

1. School activity library

Templates in Flint have now been moved into the “Public library”, where you can view, remix, and use activities created by teachers across the world.
Every school now has their own “School library” in Flint! Teachers can publish activities here for users within their school by following the steps here.

2. Mission and background customization

School administrators can now specify educational values and goals that Flint should align its responses with before replying to any message.
For example, schools can now customize Flint to respond according to specific religious worldviews, or ensure that certain pedagogical practices are enforced by Flint when helping teachers with tasks like lesson planning. More details, including sample prompts, can be found here.

When sorting sessions by student names, sessions will now appear alphabetically by last name, not first name. This was one of our most highly-requested features recently!

School administrators can now view a breakdown of the percentage and number of activities created in each subject. Flint uses AI to automatically categorize every activity.
